Hello again, I recently purchased a Gold UN peace Certificate of Appreciation for myself, my husband and my seven children. We printed them off so that we can show our support for world peace. We used the TF$ virtual peace e-currency to purchase the certificates. You can see my certificate here: http://peace.mn/cert/G100000146 and you can learn about The FUTURO peace e-currency and become a benefactor here: http://officialubiee.com/go/USPsarahp Together, WE can bring about a better world for our children and their children, a world full of peace. Let me introduce myself as a lady with a mission to share Angel Cuddles. They are real. They are love, knowledge, enlightenment, positive energy, healing energy, support……and the list goes on. I connect with the angels and I follow their guidance. The angels are there for all of us, waiting for us to demand their help. Man is on the Earth to act as servants, to take care of the Earth. We all have our part to play. We all share in the tending of the wonderful garden that is Earth We be individuals, but those individuals form “one.” All in that one work together to take care of our Planet Earth and our fellow beings. We are talking about humanity and the entire planet working together in spirit and team work. Angel Cuddles, Sarah

We at the Gailer School have secured the visas for two Afghan students to come to the US for their high school education, which they desperately wanted to do in order to be able to return and help create peace in Afghanistan.Working in partnership with HELA, we have two teens studying at Gailer for the next year, with a third student wishing to come in January. We need to raise funds to do this, and have launched a campaign to ask for support. Hopefully some of the people reading this will send contributions to Gailer (www.gailer.org), a listed WE partner. We believe that we can make peace through education, person to person, and that in our school, we can become a vehicle for change.

By Daniel Bornstein, WE Student Action Coordinator I entered the UN Youth Assembly last week most passionate about environmental sustainability. Yet after speaking with delegates from several African nations, I’ve been inspired to pay more attention to education in Africa. Increasing educational access for the people of African nations will not only foster economic progress but create a permanent constituency of citizens who view corruption as unacceptable. In Africa, many heads of state face little public pressure to be honest leaders. As a YA delegate from the Democratic Republic of Congo told me, we need educated citizens in Africa who can hold leaders accountable. Read the full post at annualyouthassembly.wordpress.com

Have you heard of the film http://forthenext7generations.com? it is the story of the momentous journey of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers (http://www.grandmotherscouncil.org), as they travel around the globe promoting world peace, and sharing their ways of healing. These 13 wise women originate from all four corners. Motivated by their concern for our planet, they decided to form an alliance: The International Council of 13 Indigenous Grandmothers. The film begins at their first gathering, and follows them to Central and South America, Nepal, and finally to India for a private meeting with the Dalai Lama. Through their teachings, these Grandmothers are lighting a way to a peaceful, sustainable planet.

The greatest discovery of my generation is that human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes of mind.Leaders don’t create followers, they create more leaders. As WE look ahead into the next century, leaders will be those empower others. "We make a living by what we get, we make life by what we give."

What does WE mean to me? Each photo at the top of http://www.WE.net shows part of what WE includes in our new, expansive definition. For me, WE is not just people of different genders, ages and ethnic groups, WE also includes other forms of life (like plants) and even eco-systems like mountains, lakes and oceans. And I believe this new WE consciousness is needed for us to have a healthy sustainable civilization and planet. Beyond that consciousness, I think of WE also as representing all who work to make change for the common good - from individuals in their communities to the global social and environmental movements. Connecting and amplifying the impact of these "agents of change" is the mission of WE!

I am creating a website to help organize people to get together and pick up trash in their local public areas. I recently started taking the bus to work, and I wait an average of 10 minutes each day for the bus to arrive. I noticed one day that the bus stop was littered with trash, even though there was a garbage can right there. One day I decided to bring a pair of gloves. I found an empty plastic bag amongst the trash and put as much trash as I could into it until it was full, then I put the bag in the garbage can. It only took me 10 minutes to pick up all the trash around the bus stop. Now, I can wait for the bus surrounded by grass and trees, absent of trash. The website I am going to create will be a place to post before and after photos of littered public areas, and what they look like when they're cleaned up. Hopefully, it will inspire others to clean up their own public areas. The website I have reserved is http://www.TendTheGardens.org Please email me at jeff@tendthegardens.org if you would like to help me with this idea. Thanks
